Overview & Intake Periods
Intakes start in January of each academic year. Selection is done following the district cut-off point after which class allocation is done basing on the options and one’s area of interest/ strength especially at junior level.
Once grade 10 learners report, they are subjected to aptitude tests in mathematics, English and Science in order to select learners with exceptional results in the aforementioned subjects. These are the learners which make up a National Science class (pure class).
Private Tuition & Special Classes: KSS offers special remedial classes after standard hours (from 14:00 to 16:00) for pupils who require extra assistance in core subjects (Mathematics, Sciences, and English). Special exam preparation intakes for Grades 9 and 12 run during the August school holidays.
